Frequently Asked Questions

A wedding planner is a hired vendor who manages the entire wedding planning process. A wedding coordinator is a hired vendor that comes in towards the end of the process (typically about 2-3 months prior to the wedding day) and ties all the details together that you have been managing thus far.

Absolutely! One of my biggest pet peeves as an event professional is thinking that coordinators are an “optional” vendor category. While they aren’t producing a tangible item like food, flowers, or photos, they are the ones responsible for ensuring the flow, timing, and vendors are all managed properly. If a coordinator is not hired to do this then it usually falls unexpectedly on a family member, friend, or even a vendor who isn’t trained to take on these tasks.
